Terms of Service

The Service

This tool lets you request and pay for an initial consultation with one of our attorneys. Scheduling a consultation does not guarantee that our firm will accept or be able to assist with your matter.

No Attorney-Client Relationship

Using this tool, scheduling a consultation, and paying the consultation fee do not create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship is formed only if and when we and you sign a written engagement agreement. Information provided through this tool is not, and should not be relied upon as, legal advice. Please do not send confidential or time-sensitive information through the scheduling form.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use this tool.

Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when scheduling. We rely on your answers to route your request and prepare for your consultation.

Consultation Fees and Payment

Consultation fees are displayed at checkout and are charged at the time you book. Payments are processed securely by PayPal; your card details are submitted directly to PayPal and never touch our servers. Fees for specialized or non-standard matters may be higher than our standard consultation fee.

Cancellations and Refunds

You may cancel your consultation for a full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance, and missed appointments, may not be refunded. To cancel or reschedule, use the link in your confirmation email or contact our office.

Rescheduling

We may need to reschedule a consultation — for example, due to attorney availability. If we do, we will contact you to arrange a new time.

Text Messages

If you provide a phone number and agree when scheduling, you consent to receive text (SMS) messages from Rob Wiley, P.C. about your consultation, such as confirmations, reminders, and scheduling updates. These messages are transactional only; we do not send marketing or promotional text messages. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies based on your appointments. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, and reply HELP for help. Opting out of text messages will not affect your ability to receive service-related communications by email or phone. Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any legal service.

Attorney Referral List

If your matter is outside our typical scope of practice, we may offer an attorney referral list. Any referral list we provide is for your convenience only and is not an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee regarding any listed attorney. You are responsible for evaluating and selecting any attorney.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the tool, including by submitting false information, attempting to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

Disclaimers

The tool is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the tool will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rob Wiley, P.C. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or relating to your use of this tool.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
